Therapeutic - Rehabilitation Massage
Therapeutic massage is a treatment style aimed at decreasing soft tissue tension and muscular dysfunction as well as improving blood and lymph circulation.
It can help maintain a range of movement and mobility, decrease pain and increase overall wellness. It is also used for rehabilitative purposes.
Therapeutic massage intervention is goal oriented, focused, and specific to the soft tissues involved.
In most cases attention to other areas of the body is necessary to deal with the cause of the problem, rather than just the symptoms experienced by the client.

Can enhance performance by preparing the client for an up-and-coming event and aid recovery after a vigorous workout or competition.
Regular maintenance massage can help the athlete remain injury free. Sports massage is aimed at athletes of all levels.
Whether you are a professional athlete, a weekend warrior, or a sedentary person just starting some sort of physical activity, regular 'Sports' massage can help you remain injury free.
Sports massage techniques do not differ from those used in therapeutic or deep tissue massage however it is the way these techniques are applied which makes it a sports massage.
Scar Therapy
When Gentle Scar Therapy is applied, we focus on the fascia and identify any restrictions or adhesions to soften the tissues by increasing fluid flow in the area.
A very light pressure is used. It doesn’t matter if the scar resulted from a planned procedure or an unexpected injury, nor does its age. What matters is that massage can help reintegrate the scarred area into the body by normalizing sensations, reducing pain and nervous system activity, and aiding lymphatic drainage.
By restoring this flow, we can significantly improve your range of motion. There is no way to break up scar tissue; rather, my goal is to help the tissue find its new space and integrate nicely into the body.

Lymphatic Drainage
This specialized treatment follows a specific pattern to help drain fluid from congested areas. It has a consistent rhythm that is repetitive yet highly effective.
The massage can target specific areas of the body as needed. It is particularly beneficial for conditions such as sinusitis, recovery after dental work, headaches, restless leg syndrome, tendinitis, and fluid retention, among others.
Additionally, organs such as the kidneys, lungs, liver, spleen, eyes, and colon can also benefit from lymphatic drainage.
To be most effective, lymphatic drainage pressure must be very light to avoid compressing the lymph vessels and lymph nodes located just under the skin.
